Volkswagen diagnostic app for Android
Volkswagen sits in the VAG family inside BTK-Auto, with Audi, Škoda and SEAT. Golf, Polo and Transporter are the UK cars people usually mean. The app has additional VAG module targets beyond a generic engine scan, and those targets still depend on the platform, the ECU and the adapter.
Basic Scan reads standard OBD-II fault information for free and does not write to the car. Full Access is where supported live data, module reads and clears live. One-click coding, hidden-feature apps and online manufacturer unlocks are not what this product sells.
Newer Volkswagen platforms can require manufacturer authorisation for some adaptations. If a function needs that online approval, it can remain outside the current app.
