Toyota diagnostic app for Android
Toyota is a recognised brand in BTK-Auto, including some UK-built vehicles when the VIN matches the list the app already uses. Yaris, Corolla and RAV4 are the usual examples. Recognition lets the app name the car. It does not mean every Toyota computer will answer an advanced request.
Basic Scan is free and read-only: fault codes, VIN, lamp status and voltage when the ECU exposes them. Full Access is for live data and supported clears. A hybrid battery health test is not part of this product.
Use a classic Bluetooth ELM327. Pair it in Android settings, then run the scan from the app.
What this does not promise
- Report hybrid or EV battery remaining life.
- Replace Toyota dealer diagnostics.
- Treat every Yaris, Corolla or RAV4 year as the same ECU.
